Wilhelm Reich (a Viennese M.D., ex-student of Freud) is familiar to many as the only person in the USA ever to have his books burned by an agency of the government. In his case, it was the FDA in 1954. Later that year he was jailed in the political pen at Lewisburg, PA for thumbing his nose at an FDA indictment saying the healing properties of his discovery that he named "orgone" were quackery. He died there in 1957. But orgone is about something, even though, 50 years later, it's still unclear quite what. Reich claimed it was the "fifth major physical force", the one responsible for there being organic life at all. A simply constructed orgone accumulator box 12" on a side will sprout lentil and other seeds at least 50% faster than a box not so constructed sitting right next to it. (I've done this experiment. It works big time! -DP) Terminal patients have recorded miracle cancer cures using the technology. "Cloud-busting" -- using a special stack of tubes (see illustrations below and in articles) and pipes on a ¾-ton pickup truck bed -- can make it rain and/or cause other meteorological events. Okay, you don't think so, but the governments of drought-ridden Namibia, Eritrea, Israel and India have hired premier cloud-buster Dr. James DeMeo to come show them how to build and use cloud-busters in the last few years. Promising results there and heavily documented positive results elsewhere. And much more, of course. Orgonomic research studies of many kinds. Reich's orgone is a prime example of one of those oldies-but-goodies in the ". . .not-so-new, but still healthily unorthodox!" category.

The reaction of esterification between and alcohol and an organic acid, as given by the following equation: acid + alcohol </> ester + H2O can occur, at low temperatures, only with the presence of a reagent, such as concentrated sulphuric acid and gaseous hydrochloric acid, or a catalyst. Ester formation without reagent or catalyst can still occur at temperatures above 300 degrees C; while at around 150 degrees C it occurs after 1-2 days and, at room temperatures, after around 16 years. In addition to reaction, slightly esothermic, is not affected neither by electromagnetic nor by radioactive fields. Our study was aimed at evaluating the stability of a solution of methyl alcohol and L-glutamic acid (one of the most important neuro-transmitters of the nervous system), at standard conditions and without the presence of any reagent or catalyst, when kept in a Reich orgone accumulator for a given period of time. According to the literature the above chemical must not react and the molecules of the L-glutamic acid must remain unaltered. At the same time the analysis performed at the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), at 230 nm, must give a flat chromatograph output, since both the alcohol and the acid does not absorb in the ultraviolet range, and hence no peaks must be observed at the chromatograph after the HPLC analysis, that otherwise would indicate absorbing characteristics of the system... An Environmental Scientist working at a private Institute in rural Oregon claims to have a solution to the ancient plagues of drought and famine. Dr. James DeMeo, formerly a geography professor at Illinois State University and the University of Miami, and currently Director of the Orgone Biophysical Research Laboratory, has been undertaking field experiments and a detailed study of the controversial Reich cloudbuster.

Hi, I'm Jerome Greenfield, author of Wilhelm Reich vs the U.S.A which came out under the W.W. Norton imprint some 25 or so years ago. Since then I have obtained additional legal material which was incorporated into a German translation of my book and will soon be incorporated into a new English edition. It will consist of about an extra 100 or so pages, based on legal and government material that was not originally available to me. At present I have SEVERAL LARGE FILE DRAWERS OF ALL THE LEGAL AND ALSO NON-LEGAL MATERIAL THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAD ON REICH. I dare say it is the most complete file around since, I understand, other people have been at these files since my original research and many of them simply stole documents as they saw fit. I don't want to mention names.. The government, of course, had no duplicates of these stolen documents and probably doesn't even know they're missing. The reason I mention this is that I'm preparing to sell my material on Reich for $10,000 or the highest bidder. I would appreciate it if you could somehow or other get this information on the internet.
