Why is the existence of Hominoids, a.k.a. Sasquatch/Bigfoot relevant?
If you have ever attended any institution of learning, at any time of your life in the "civilized world", chances are you have seen the fossils of Hominoids. Most people haven't realized this truth. While we've been indoctrinated with either the theories of Evolution or Creationism, the evidence of Hominoids' existence have been right under our noses the whole time. Upright walking primates appeared in the early part of the Miocene Era along with quadrupedal apes. Some of the newest theories propose that there is enough evidence to suggest that Hominoids may have even descended from Homo Sapiens! Remember, science is a long series of corrected mistakes. What we're learning about the "Evolution" of primates is changing the standard views dramatically.
Exponential improvements in technology are giving us the ability to penetrate into the sciences of Paleontology & Genetics. Not only that, but our archeologists are uncovering documents from ancient civilizations that predate the Egyptians and reveal information on the origins of man that have everything to do with why Hominoids are relevant to our existence.
More and More people are waking up to the truth that what we think we know about this planet and our place in it, is riddled with assumptions and errors. And just because someone paid a heavy price for a college or university education, doesn't mean that everything that they learned is accurate. If we are ever going to understand what the hell is the meaning or connection of Hominoids with the flow chart of life on Earth and what their connection to us is, then we better start digging a lot deeper in every science or discipline that is relevant to human origins and the study of primates in general.
This is what we are all about. You are invited to go on this journey with us. You don't need to agree with us; just have an open mind and consider the possibilities presented here. One way or another, this undocumented being will find its place in the catalog of known creatures, so let's work together on making this happen as smoothly as possible, because the ultimate meaning of their existence will change the world as we currently know it and bring in a whole new level of understanding of who we are and how we came to exist. Good luck on your journey with this information.
Life's True Beginnings by Lloyd Pye This was published in England's Quest Magazine in April 1999.
Framing The Picture How did life begin on Earth? More intellectual and literal blood has been shed and spilled attempting to answer this question than any other in any aspect of science or religion. Why? Because the answer, if it could be determined beyond doubt, would reveal to us the deepest meanings behind ourselves and all that we see around us. More importantly, it would demolish once and for all the thorny tangle of conscious and unconscious thought and belief that causes most of the bloodshed. FULL ARTICLE HERE
Intervention: The New Theory Muscling in on Evolution, Creation, and Intelligent Design by Lloyd Pye
Evolution should have put creationism away ages ago—the very ages creationists mulishly, stupidly insist didn’t happen. By every outward sign the ideological contest was shaping up as a slam-dunk shutout runaway rout. The evolution team went in at halftime, after the Scopes Trial in 1925, ahead on all cards, three of seven, 50-zip. No bookies would take a bet at any odds against them. Yet now, closing out the first half-decade of the 21st century, the evolutionists’ classic rope-a-dope tactic of letting their dogma-hobbled opponents futilely flail away has, in a stunning reversal, stopped working.
Fifteen years ago the depleted, rubber-limbed creationists somehow wised up enough to turn the battle into a tag-team match. They staggered to the ropes to touch the hand of a fresh partner, intelligent design, and with sharp wits and shrewd tactics the intelligent designers have turned the tide. Evolution’s knees are buckling and its hands have dropped, opening it up for the kind of haymaker that took out Clint’s Million Dollar Baby. Is it time to crown a new champion? Yes, without a doubt— but not intelligent design. FULL ARTICLE HERE
Earliest Human Ancestor? Not Likely! A Star Is Born by Lloyd Pye
Media everywhere have recently carried banner stories about the discovery in Ethiopia of fossil bones deemed the oldest yet found of the primate species that eventually evolved into humans. Worldwide news outlets for TV, print, radio, and wire have trumpeted the inexorable march of science back to the moment when the so-called "common ancestor" of apes and humans will eventually be unearthed. Such reports are given as if no other result is remotely possible; it is simply a matter of time and circumstance. But is it?
The new fossils average 5.5 million years old, neatly fitting within the range of 5 to 7 million years ago that is the accepted window for when humans and apes diverged from the common ancestor. However, that window is heavily fogged with assumptions rather than provable calculations. Geneticists have made broad assumptions about mutation rates in the mitochondrial DNA of great apes, which just happens to dovetail in the window with equally broad assumptions made by physical anthropologists.
The anthropological estimate begins with an astonishing string of human-shaped footprints tracked across volcanic ash 3.5 million years ago in what today is Laetoli, Tanzania. Upright bipedal walking is considered a hallmark of humanity and all of its predecessors, so if it was firmly established at 3.5 million years ago, the process had to begin at least 2 or 3 million years earlier. Add 2 to 3 million years to 3.5 million and you arrive at 5.5 to 6.5 million years ago. Tack on another half million front and back for coverage and presto! Primates started becoming bipedal 5 to 7 million years ago. FULL ARTICLE HERE
Human Origins: Can We Handle the Truth? Part One by Lloyd Pye
Since writing my first essay for NEXUS in mid-2002 , I've been bombarded by emails (nearing 200) from around the world, many offering congratulations (always appreciated, of course) and many others requesting more instruction or deeper insight into areas discussed and/or not discussed.
Let's face it: nearly everyone is interested in Darwinism, Creationism, Intelligent Design, and the new kid in town, Interventionism. Because of length constraints, this essay must be in two parts. Here, in Part One, I'll go over the basics currently known about the origin of life on Earth. Later, in Part Two, I'll discuss what is known and what can be safely surmised about the origin of humanity.
We begin by understanding that Charles Darwin stood on a very slippery slope when trying to explain how something as biologically and biochemically complex as even the simplest form of life could have spontaneously generated itself from organic molecules and compounds loose in the early Earth's environment. Because that part of Darwin's theory has always been glaringly specious, modern Darwinists get hammered about it from all sides, including from the likes of me, with a net result that the edifice of "authority" they've hidden behind for 140 years is crumbling under the assault. Human Origins: Can We Handle the Truth Part Two by Lloyd Pye
In Part One of this essay, I explained the Interventionist perspective regarding the origin of life on Earth. I showed how the great preponderance of evidence indicates life came here and did not develop here, as we have been brainwashed to believe by generations of scientists struggling to keep the creation myths of religion out of classrooms. Personally, I applaud and support all efforts to keep the most specious aspects of Creationism safely bottled up in houses of worship, where they belong. However, I have even more disdain for scientists who allow themselves to be crushed to cowardly pulp by nothing more debilitating than "peer pressure". Because both groups are so driven by their collective fears and dogma, neither has a working grip on reality. That becomes increasingly clear as research continues, which I believe was made evident in Part One. Now let's try to do the same in Part Two, on human origins.
If anything riles Creationists and Darwinists alike, it's the suggestion they might be wrong about how we humans have come to dominate our planet so thoroughly. Both sides can tolerate substantial criticisms regarding the wide array of subjects under their purviews, including the kind of critique I gave the origins of life in Part One. However, they have no toleration for challenges to their shared hegemony over the beginnings of us all. Dare that and you'll find yourself in a serious fight. Thus, those of us who support the Interventionist interpretation come under attack from both sides, not to mention the other clique at the party, the educated subgroup of Creationists known as Intelligent Designers (a brilliant choice of name that enforces their bottom-line concept of a "grand designer", while simultaneously implying they are smarter than anyone who would oppose them). Fingerprint Expert Tries To Debunk Bigfoot - Reaches Opposite Conclusion February 21, 2000 -Copyright Houston Chronicle
Jimmy Chilcutt is not someone most people would associate with the kind of wild, unsubstantiated stories that show up in supermarket tabloids. Chilcutt, 54, is skeptical by nature. His job as a fingerprint technician at the Conroe Police Department requires hard-nosed judgments and painstaking attention to detail. He is highly regarded by agents of the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and state and local law enforcement agencies because of his innovative techniques and ability to find fingerprints where others fail. But in doing what comes naturally -- being careful and thorough -- he ended up rocking his own skepticism about one of the most sensational tales that routinely show up in the tabloids. Chilcutt's quest to squeeze more information out of fingerprints led him to develop a rare expertise in nonhuman primate prints. He tried to use his special knowledge to debunk alleged evidence of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch.
But his examination of alleged Bigfoot footprint castings didn't lead to the conclusion he had expected. He now believes that -- while some of them are fakes -- some are the genuine prints of a reclusive animal that has yet to be documented and studied. The path to Chilcutt's unusual investigation began with an idea he had in 1995. "If I could look at fingerprints and could tell the sex, gender and race, I'd be way ahead," he recalled. He began examining fingerprints to determine whether there were differences based on race or sex. FULL ARTICLE HERE
The Fossil Record
In recent times the terms Hominid & hominoid have become synonymous with one another. I prefer to separate them and use hominid to classify (Humans only). Hominoids, on the other hand, I would designate as upright walking primates, which are "human like", only in the respect that they walk upright. That is the only real parallel we have with them. Everything else about them, from an anatomical stand point, is a light year separation in morphology. Therefore, I would like to draw your attention to the images below, of what has been considered for years, our extinct ancestors. If you analyze the features of these skulls, you may begin to realize that almost all of the reports, that are not hoaxes, resemble the features that we see of these fossilized hominoid skulls. Gee, maybe some of these are not really extinct! I propose that what is being sighted on the edges of forests & jungles is indeed one of these characters. Since forests & jungles don't produce fossils, it would explain why it is so difficult for people to accept that they exist. Yes, I know, we need hard evidence for there existence to be "proved" - There is a mother load of us working on it!!!!!!!!

Aegyptopithecus zeuxis: 33 mya
Probably the best known of the propliopithecids (believed to be an ancestor of Old World monkeys and hominoids). First discovered in the Egyptian Faiyum Depression (1906).
Proconsul: 23-14 mya One of the best represented Miocene hominoids in the fossil record.
Homo Erectus: 500,000 - 1.5 mya Peking Man - (Sinathropus) Pithecanthropus pekinenses
Homo Heidelbergensis: 600,000 years old
Homo Heidelbergensis: 600,000 years old
Cro-Magnon: 10,000 - 45,000 years ago
Gigantopithicus Blacki:
Meganthropus: 1.2 mya
Dr. Krantz - a noted scholar of physical and cultural anthropology and an active Professor of Anthropology at Washington State University until shortly before his death, was the first, and for years the only, serious academic to conduct research into the question of whether the North American "Sasquatch" or "Bigfoot" is an animal that exists in fact, in addition to legend. Gigantopithics Blacki & Meganthropus were the two fossil hominoids that were his creation. Many Sasquatch/Bigfoot reports look very similiar to the features these to recontructions reveal.
Tools For Further Understanding
Kinematics: The branch of mechanics that studies the motion of a body or a system of bodies without consideration given to its mass or the forces acting on it.
The illustrations below are a comparison of how, Humans on the left, and the Sasquatch (Hominoids) on the right, have very different motoring mechanics relative to their gait. On the left, you can clearly see that we walk with a slightly bent leg in our stride, which doesn't really exceed 45 degrees during a normal walking gait. On the right, you can actually see that the creature is leaning forward with its torso, and bringing its lower leg up to a 90 degree position relative to its upper leg, which produces a very high back step. You can also see that its foot is perpendicular to the plane of the ground at the maximum height of the back step, which is something you will never see a Human do. It is almost as if the creature is catching itself before it "falls" into its next step!
Lucy's knee (middle), which is Australopithecine, with a modern human (left) and a chimpanzee (right). The morphology of her knee joint is unlike anything that Biology has on record. This would be a strong indicator in what is authoring the kinematic differences in Hominoids relative to Humans.
Ichnology is the study of plant and animal traces. Implicit to this definition is that the traces made by plants and animals reflect some sort of behavior.
Ichnology can be divided into two major subdivisions: paleoichnology (the study of ancient traces) and neoichnology (the study of modern traces). Most ichnologists are involved in paleoichnology but a considerable number also study neoichnology for the comparison of modern equivalents (and their trace makers) to ancient traces. Technically speaking, wildlife biologists or ecologists who study tracking (identification of animals and their behavior on the basis of their tracks and feces) are neoichnologists.
